Strong Oaks Construction is a family-owned business that Mark and Sharon Henderson began in 2018 after Mark spent more than 3 years learning the industry from two other contractors. Mark uses the same roofing crew on every project and his crew leader has been installing shingles for more than 25 years.

Prior to roofing, Mark spent 20 years in full-time preaching and teaching ministry. Those years in ministry inform the way Mark approaches customer service. The goal is for every customer to be pleased with the work that has been performed and to be happy that they hired Strong Oaks to oversee it. That’s why we say that our commitment to every customer is to provide quality workmanship using quality materials and a great customer service experience.

While there are many great roofing contractors in DFW, there are also too many who are unreliable or dishonest, and Mark’s background is especially helpful as he takes time to explain the complexities of hail claims to customers who are wary of contractors. He would rather spend some time building trust than try to pressure someone into signing a contract before they’re ready. Mark likes to say that part of a preaching ministry is to rescue people from Hell, and when the storm hits you, if you call Strong Oaks, “We will rescue you from hail!”
